I was born in St. Louis Mo. where I mostly grew up living in my grandmother's house along with three sisters and one brother. I was then moved to Chicago where I went to an all black school, there was then another sibling that came into my family. Eventually I found the life in the streets. I was then arrested and sent to prison in 1989 and to a mental health faculitiy where I was introduced to drugs and alcohol that is then when I learned I had a mental illness and substance abuse disorder which is when I became diagnoised as a schizophrenia person. I now am a nine year recovering addict and a student in college majoring in human service and a dedicated writer with three children and ten grandchildren
