In both the qualitative and quantitative findings, majority of the respondents expressed knowledge on Hospital Acquired Infections but the gap still lies in people's attitudes and practices. The analysis should therefore, help shed some light on the new and existing knowledge, attitudes and practices towards Hospital Acquired Infections and adopting feasible approaches to reduce infections acquired from hospitals in Budumbuli community and the country at large.
