Part 1 covers almost all topics of Hospital Pharmacy practice prescribed by various Indian Universities and Pharmacy council of India. Part 2 provides overall view of most of the topics covered under Clinical Pharmacy. 45 Chapters in all are given in this book with model questions at the end of each chapter. Sub-headings of each chapter's content are given in the contents pages, so that the readers can easily locate the topic of their choice.

S. Balasubramanian is one of the senior-most Pharmacy teachers of TamilNadu having more than 43 years of experience in may branches of the Pharmacy Profession. He did his diploma, degree, and post-graduation in pharmacy in the Prestigious Madurai medical college and took the first rank in his batch. He has about 10 years of experience as a manufacturing Chemist in the Pharmaceutical industry, nearly 10 years of experience as a Community pharmacist in the Sultanate of Oman and 23 years of experience as a Pharmacy teacher. Thus with hands-on, first-hand practical knowledge as a pharmacy practitioner, he has written this book, which is bestowed to very few by the almighty and makes him unique among the authors of pharmacy textbooks. As he is an orator, writer, poet and dedicated sincere pharmacist, he was elected unopposed many times as President or Secretary of professional association in Madurai. He has about 50 scientific publications and an equal number of general articles published in reputed journals and the present one is his third Textbook for pharmacy students.
