Autorenporträt
Fran Maglione has been crafting creative short stories since the age of seven, which was also the year that she won her first national writing award. The accolades continued throughout her academic career and into her professional life as a local news reporter. Though Fran has always had an interest in creepy stories and twist endings, she can neither confirm nor deny that this is a result of being born in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Frequent experiences with lucid dreaming and sleep paralysis probably have something to do with it, too. Fran currently lives in southwestern Connecticut with her other half on a hill next to a river. Her hobbies include hiking, jogging, reading, taking photos, and predicting the ending of movies at around 20 minutes in. Her work has been published in "Dark Moon Digest" and in her first book, "The Vixen's Scream: Stories for the Worst in All of Us."
