India is the fourth biggest consumer of the vitality and expected to ascend by 2021-22. There are distinctive classifications where bituminous and sub-bituminous coal is found inexhaustibly. For the most part utilized in the nation by the ventures are the low grade coal with higher ash content and low calorific value. Due to the characteristics of the low grade coal there are various environmental and industrial challenges like expansive land necessity for slag transfer, permeation of dangerous components to ground water through powder transfer in warm power stations etc. Research on co-gasification of coal and biomass have got much attention these days by the researchers all over the world. Fluidized bed gasification reactors are adaptable, as they commonly utilize a more extensive scope of fuel molecule sizes. The particles are suspended in an upward streaming segment of gas while it is being gasified (Natarajan et al., 1998). Gasification process is utilized for delivering syngas from coal or biomass for different applications for instance; create warmth and power, a few synthetic substances, SNG, hydrogen or fluid fills generation.
