I'm Raveena Baskaran, an aspiring author and illustrator of picture books from India. While originally trained as a surface pattern designer, my passion for children's illustration was ignited when I began illustrating my own childhood memories.Inspired by reading stories to my own child, I delved deeper into the world of picture books as both an author and illustrator. My style is characterized by quirky and whimsical hand-drawn illustrations, reflecting my love for creativity and storytelling.Despite not having a formal art degree, my passion for artistic expression has always been a driving force. I briefly worked in software but ultimately returned to my true calling in the world of art and storytelling.
