El Dr. Kuteyi es actualmente un investigador independiente, afiliado al Departamento de Arqueología y Antropología de la Universidad de Ibadán. Sus áreas de enseñanza e investigación son la antropología médica, la sociología médica y los estudios culturales y de género. Ha llevado a cabo varios proyectos de investigación que ponen de relieve la interfaz entre cultura y salud.
