This motivates that, adequate understanding of the socio economic circumstances is required to determine the household's soil conservation demand behavior and the factors that determine their willingness to pay for it. Hence, this book explores the value that the rural households have attached to soil conservation measure using the non marketed valuation technique called Contingent valuation method.

Mr. Gebrelibanos was born on June 02, 1987. He Obtained his BSc. Degree in Agricultural Economics from Haramaya University, Ethiopia on July 2008 and his MSc. Degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from University of Malawi and University of Pretoria on July 2012. He is currently working as a Lecturer in Haramaya University, Ethiopia.
