Autorenporträt
Frank H¿chsmann, born in Hermannstadt / Sibiu, is economist and quality auditor. In the middle of the 1970ies he managed a medium sized hotel near Cologne, Germany. Until the end of the 1980ies he managed the tourism department at a university of applied sciences in Bogot¿Colombia. In the 1990ies he was responsible for the training department of the Uruguayan Hotel and Restaurant Association. At that time he published several books on hotel and tourism management topics with his wife Martha. Since 2001, Frank and Martha H¿chsmann live in Germany again. Here he founded and registered together with his wife Martha the service company HOTQUA (hotel tourism quality), which has specialised on qualification and training as well as Quality Standards and Quality Management. For several years, Frank H¿chsmann is a board member of the Tourist Association Berlin-Reinickendorf and member of Carl Wolff Business Club.
