The world of the housing market and housing finance system continues to evolve as countries with emerging economies play crucial roles in sheltering the needs of their citizens. Similarly, this book continues to evolve to provide students and professionals with the tools that they need to understand how the housing finance system influences the housing market. This book explores underlying factors of the markets which show that the housing market and housing finance system in countries with emerging economies have additional characteristics as compared to countries with developed economies. The concepts, elements, and practices of the housing markets and housing finance systems are also explored. Malaysia is chosen to represent countries with emerging economies due to the successful cooperation between the private and public sectors in the region. The dynamic behaviour of the housing market and housing finance system was fully analysed.
