Is someone with wings born knowing how to take to the sky or does that knowledge come through instruction provided by experienced fliers? Is there something else that enables a creature to leave the ground and soar? In 'How Do I Fly?', you can find discoveries of a gaggle of swimmers and a family of Egyptian geese. You can hear what birds think. You might even find out the secret of flight.

Autorenporträt
Rich was a psychotherapist for thirty-five years, working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. He decided to see what might unfold in life as he left his beloved profession and opened into the unknown. 'How Do I Fly?' is one emergent expression that rose from his actual observations, imagination, and endearment at Barton Springs Pool. Many decades ago, he wrote a children's book to honor his very young godson's magical way of skipping through the world, 'You and Me and Pea'. More recently, Rich printed a photography flipbook as an honoring to his psychotherapy clients. With an ode to their courage and persistence towards change, 'Trees Are Us' photographically captured the seasonal unfolding of a beautiful pecan tree over a year-long passage.
