In the following systematic literature review, emphasis is placed on determining how emotions affect persons deprived of liberty, in order to identify their importance, as well as how this emotional affectation is currently affecting this population, and also to determine whether there is any type of psychosocial care program or a program that helps regulate and treat emotions in the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute.
