Carolyn becomes frustrated with the situation and works tirelessly for closure. Autobiography: Born in Jamaica, Claudette King-Welcome graduated from the Anita Priest School of Interior Design in Miami, Florida and spent many years as a successful design consultant before she began to pursue writing. Her gift of writing exploded in the late 1980s, and has devoted most of her time as a poet, where she has received several awards for her work in poetry. She currently lives in Florida with her husband.
