Kutay Mutdöan, nascido em 1979, formou-se na METU como Engenheiro de Petróleo e Gás Natural; depois tirou o seu MBA na Universidade de Bilkent; e o seu doutoramento na Universidade de Hacettepe em BA. Trabalhou para a British American Tobacco, MAN Trucks, Hilti, Avea, IMC e SKion. Também trabalhou em diferentes universidades como professor assistente e instrutor.
