Bobby Luthra Sinha holds a PhD in Social Anthropology and Political Science from the University of Basel Switzerland and a Post-Doc from the University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. An independent author, lead researcher, editor, and advisor to several research bodies, NGOs, and multi-media outlets, she is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Asian, African and Latin American Studies (CAALAS) at the ISS, Delhi, and Co-Chair of the Migration Commission for the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnographic Sciences (IUAES). Luthra Sinha undertakes research and advocacy work on the issue of environmental and human rights of tribals, women, migrants, and diasporas with a strong focus on SDGs and community resilience.
