She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years with experience in patient care, administration, outcomes measurement, clinical research, and data analytics. Professor Carberry is a recipient of the Susan M. Cox, M.D. Academy of Distinguished Educators 2021- 2022 Excellence in Teaching Award.
