In our book, we have tried to understand the determinants of agricultural exports in Tunisia. This question was addressed by drawing on theoretical and empirical work on the subject and others related to it. In order to achieve our objective, we followed an approach that is articulated in three chapters. In the first chapter, we studied the theoretical foundations related to our issue, such as international trade, agricultural economics and agricultural exports. In the second chapter, we studied the evolution and characteristics of the structure of agricultural exports and its determinants in Tunisia. In the third chapter, we used 7 ad hoc specifications to empirically examine the determinants of agricultural exports in the long and short term. The results and interpretations provide evidence that is very substantial to inspire validity planning and reforms to improve investment and trade in the agricultural sector so that it can support economic development in Tunisia.
