Autorenporträt
Finn's dutiful transcriber, Gwen Romack (aka The Squishy One), is a Maryland native, avid dog lover, and rescue volunteer. Gwen and her husband Evan (aka The Hairy One) agreed to foster Finn a year after losing their beloved Vizsla/Pit mix, Mr. Snuggles, at age 14. She began posting Finn's weekly updates on Facebook as a way to help prospective adopters fall in love with Finn. But, it became clear pretty quickly that she and her husband would become foster fails and Finn was already home! The posts became so popular in the Vizsla community that she decided to continue indulging Finn and letting him dictate his view of life as a dog rescuing his difficult hoomans. At the time of publishing the first book, sweet and sassy Finn is in year three of his weekly updates. If the first book does well, Gwen plans to publish subsequent years and donate a portion of the proceeds to his favorite rescue organizations. Gwen is a volunteer and passionate advocate and for homeless youth, veterans and animals. She enjoys growing veggies, cooking, music and painting kindness rocks to spread joy all over the world. In her "day job", Gwen is an Ethics & Compliance officer, working to curb, investigate and mitigate corruption within corporations and governments.
