If you like children's books that you can enjoy and learn from while reading to your children, then this book is a must have for your bookshelf. It is one of the Bush Tales series by the author where you and your children can learn about Australia's unique wildlife through enjoyable stories. Reviews: 'This is a wonderful story. This book gives parents and teachers a wonderful teaching moment on climate change through a sweet story of a little wombat.' 'The sweet wombat in the story saves the day by being kind, thoughtful, and clever. This book teaches children helpfulness, kindness, and why being genuine in difficult times is important.' 'Skeel has a way of explaining gently that all is not lost when a fire dragon destroys the land. Even with fires bigger than normal, some survive and the lovely wombat, Blossom, shows us how. Interweaving a childhood tale with lessons about the natural world and its species, Skeel is able to transmit knowledge along with a sweet tale of a wombat family in the bush of Australia. Absolutely delightful!' 'Sure to be a classic from an author who felt the fire dragon first hand! I highly recommend it!'
