Rory Haltmaier is an award-winning artist, writer, illustrator, and friend to all creatures--especially those with wings. She has pursued her formal art training at the Cornell College of Architecture, Art, and Planning in Ithaca, New York, the Rhode Island School of Design, and the Maine College of Art. Her accolades include two National Gold Circle Awards from the Columbia School of Journalism. Rory lives on the North Shore of Boston and can be found walking the beach in search of sea glass and shorebirds, a sketchbook filled with dragons and creatures in hand.
