During her twenty-plus year career as a social scientist, Sara Christiansen has had the privilege to work with a diverse array of organizations in both the private and public sectors. As CEO and senior consultant at Ideation Consulting, Sara is responsible for designing customized organizational development solutions that drive true business results. She has a firm grasp of evidence-based talent development methodologies and facilitates strategic programs to help her clients maximize the return on their human capital investments. Sara has vast experience working with professionals at all levels in an organization. Whether delivering a formal presentation to a room full of executives or providing one-on-one coaching for an emerging leader, Sara's passionate style allows her to connect with all audiences in a way that energizes individuals to perform at a higher level. As preferred provider with the Society for Human Resource Management and the Human Resource Certification Institute, Sara travels throughout the United States to deliver strategic HR and business leadership programs. Sara attributes her success to many factors, but she is especially proud of her ability to identify and embrace opportunities. She finds that grand possibilities stem from strong relationships. She says, "I often find myself in passionate exchanges with like-minded professionals. When I reach out to forge new connections, amazing opportunities often follow." Sara has a degree in social science from Northwest Missouri State University and is a proud alum of the Delta Zeta Sorority. Today she lives in New Ulm, Minnesota, with her husband and two teenage sons. During the summer months, Sara can often be found at her lake cabin "up north."
