Incorporated on June 13, 1767, Hubbardston began as a rural farming community. Gary W. Kangas is a member of the Hubbardston Historical Society and on the board of the Hubbardston Historical Commission. He has produced four video documentaries on the town. Growing up in Hubbardston, he lived on a farm that was in his family from 1894 until 1998. The photographs in Hubbardston were provided by the Hubbardston Historical Society archives and private collections.
