Kevin Lea is an artist and illustrator who lives in the small town of Manitou, Manitoba. He was inspired by his own pet cat named Hubert to write his first book, Hubert Has a Fine Day. Growing up on a farm nurtured a love and respect for animals. He grew up in a household with pets and now has a few of his own. He created this book to promote the joy of pet ownership.
