Kevin Kitrell Ross, affectionately known as "Rev. Kev," is a southside Chicago native, Morehouse Man, and the creator of Khavon¿, a children's social media character that entertains and empowers youth with tools for addressing trauma and the complexities of growing up in difficult times. Hug Your Children is book two in Rev. Kev's Rhyming Reader series, a collection of children's books that encourage the young and young-at-heart to shelter-in-place and read out loud. The first book in the series is The Optimistic Seed: A Story of Resilience.Rev. Kev resides in Sacramento, California, with his wife and three children and serves as the Senior Minister of Unity of Sacramento International Spiritual Center.
