Hugh Michael Robertson (born 9 October 1962, Canterbury) is a Conservative Party politician in the United Kingdom. He is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Faversham and Mid Kent, first elected in 2001, and is Minister for Sport at the Government Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Robertson was educated at The King's School, an independent school in Canterbury in Kent, which is reputed to be the oldest school in continuous existence in the world, and then studied land management at the University of Reading from 1982-5, gaining a BSc (Hons). He went to the RMA Sandhurst from 1985-6.
