Hugo Alcântara (born on July 28, 1979) is a Brazilian footballer (defender) who currently plays for Portuguese Primeira Liga side União Desportiva de Leiria. As a Romanian club CFR Cluj player, he scored a great goal against Interna ional Curtea de Arge on 7 December 2009. In February 2011, he moved to play for J. League Division 1 side Montedio Yamagata in 2011 campaign, but before the season, he departed the club in the aftermath of catastrophic earthquake in Japan. Returning to Brazil, he joined Clube Atlético Paranaense on 4 April 2011. After only a three-month spell in Atlético-
