With two daughters, a husband, and a black lab, her life is filled with inspiration from her loved ones and the beauty of Wyoming's landscapes. Her recent work, "Hugs are a Quiet Thing," is a heartfelt reflection on motherhood, dedicated to her daughters and the wonderful mothers she knows, as well as all mothers around the world.In addition to "Hugs are a Quiet Thing," Maci Welch has created "The Grumble Bear," a charming story written and illustrated to address the picky eating habits of a tiny bear.
