Angelina Dunbar writes for children: fantasy, mystery, adventure, and preschool books. She grew up in a barrio (village) on the island of Cebu, in the Philippines, without electricity, television, phones, or the internet. Her lola (grandmother) told them tales of mythical creatures and spirit worlds, fueling her imagination and love of storytelling. After traveling the world with the military, she taught pre-K to fifth grade as a substitute teacher. Working with children sparked a desire to write children's books, like Hugz and His Friend Bugz preschool books and Bodbod's Ghosts, an easy reader for ages 5-8.
