Havagiray R. Chitme, has been known for innovative teaching, learning and research in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences since past 24 years. His 11 years of experience as Associate Professor and Professor of Pharmacology at National University of Science and Technology, Muscat, made him to have experience of teaching in Indian and American pedagogies. A postgraduate in Pharmacy (Pharmacology) in 1998 from RGUHS, Bangalore, and Doctorate in Pharmacy from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi in 2003. He is extensively involved in teaching Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacotherapeutics at graduation, postgraduation and doctoral level. His passion for teaching in all aspects flows through his basic and clinical research. He received International and National research grants in the field of woman health. He has guided multiple M. Pharm dissertation works and Doctoral thesis works. He published many Indian patents, research articles in peer reviewed indexed journals and presented papers in various National and International scientific platforms. He delivered invited talks in National and International Seminars, Symposiums, Workshops and Conferences. He has received various awards such as 'Best Teacher Award', 'Best Paper Presentation Award', 'Research Excellence Award', 'Best Paper Publication Award', 'Outstanding Teacher Award' and others. He was heading the faculty of pharmacy, DIT University Dehradun. Currently, he is working with DIT University, Dehradun as Professor of Pharmacology and Head, IPR Cell. He is one of the most popular professor among his students.
