Dwayne is a certified school psychologist. He trains teachers and administrators on how to increase engagement among students of color, using culturally responsive models. He has trained hundreds of teachers on how to create culturally relevant response-to-intervention (RTI), multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS), and social emotional learning (SEL) programs. He has coached thousands of students on SEL skills and currently uses his curriculum, "Like Music to My Ears: A Hip-Hop Approach to Social Emotional Learning" to integrate hip hop elements-including dance, rap, and poetry-with SEL activities. Dwayne is an author with Corwin Press and speaks nationally on culturally responsive problem solving models. Dwayne is also a certified success coach. He uses his book "Human Behavior from a Spiritual Perspective" to help clients understand the role their minds play in developing in Christ. He uses his book, "Human Behavior," to shed light on mental illness, including anxiety and depression, and teaches faith-based principles to help readers experience success in every area of their lives. Dwayne teaches clients how to use thoughts and mental tools to experience success God's way, according to Scripture.
