It is hypothesized, therefore, that such a key or keys should be found by exploiting one or more of the human models outlined in this book. Hopefully, targeted therapy of human cancer would be greatly facilitated, especially as the old maneuver of cannulation can be reinforced withthe new technique of videomicroscopy when carried out in consenting patients.

O Professor Wilson Onuigbo é um patologista de renome mundial. Assim, em 1968, a sua biografia tinha aparecido nos EUA em World Who's Who in Science. A sua primeira publicação histórica foi em 1958; dizia respeito à necessidade de mudar a Síndrome de Horner para a Síndrome de Reid. Contribuiu com o capítulo histórico num livro sobre Metástase Óssea publicado nos EUA em 1981.
