Human resource is a vital factor in the economic development of a nation. People not only contribute to production as one of the important factors stimulating growth, they are also consumers, and the focus of economic development is to maximize people's welfare. These provide guidance to faculty and researchers engaged in or interested in pursuing socio-economic research, and in particular, management.
