This book is an outcome of an empirical study of 225 Information Technology, Information Technology Enabling Services, Telecom, Manufacturing and Automobile companies operating in Chennai, India. It narrates about a questionnaire which consisted of 120 items inclined to measure about the HR functional variables. The authors used correlation for associating variables,Analysis of variance based on the demographics, regression to find the prediction of exogenouson endogenous variables. The data analyses projected that Organisations are confronting challenges in retaining their talented employees and in focusing on organisational development.

V. Bharathi Kannamma and Dr. G. Rajini are from VELS University, Chennai, India. The latter is Professor and Head -MBA (Integrated) and the former is her Scholar in Master of Philosophy. Dr. G. Rajini had authored two books, published many research articals, Chaired sessions in International conferences,renders behavioural training and guides doctorates.
