Autorenporträt
Agostino Sottili, Ph.D. in Classical and Romance Literature, was Professor at the Universities of Köln and Turin, and at the Università Cattolica of Milan. He published the Codici del Petrarca nelle biblioteche della Germania occidentale - four volumes of documents on the history of Pavia's university - and a large number of articles about humanism.
