Géraldine Elschner wurde 1954 in Frankreich geboren. Sie studierte Germanistik und Romanistik und ließ sich zur Bibliothekarin mit Schwerpunkt "Kinderliteratur" ausbilden. Sie lebt in Heidelberg und arbeitet als Übersetzerin und Autorin.
