Sarah Stone is the author of the novel, The True Sources of the Nile and co-author, with her spouse Ron Nyren, of the textbook Deepening Fiction: A Practical Guide for Intermediate and Advanced Writers. Her stories, essays, and reviews have been published widely. She has taught at UC Berkeley, San Francisco State, and the Warren Wilson MFA Program. She lives in El Cerrito, CA.
