She has written for DC/Vertigo Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, and more. Her most notable works are IN THE DARK, CREEPY, VERTIGO QUARTERLY, and ANATHEMA. Deering lives with her wife, two dogs, and a collection of monster masks.
