In recent decades, the area of sheet metal forming has been improved in terms of materials used, as well as flexibility and cost reduction of the process. The present work approaches the application of combined forming processes, conventional and incremental sheet forming processes in the same metal sheet. This combination is denominated hybrid forming processes. This process is done through the manufacture of a preform by conventional forming process, followed by incremental sheet forming. New forming processes have also been developed, such as Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF). This process aims to produce small batches of parts, fast prototyping and flexibility with reduced operating costs. The cost reduction will occur through the use of tools with more economical materials and partially applied to the process. The use of the combination of forming processes was called a hybrid forming process. The application of both processes is intended to achieve greater strains in materials with cost reduction for a specific lot of parts. This study aimed to evaluate the behavior of the strains occurred in the samples of DC04 steel, when these are formed through a hybrid forming process.
