In this book, the performance of the hybrid renewable sources such as solar, wind, biogas and battery for back up supply is analysed. The hybrid model is designed in MATLAB and HOMER software. The simulation has been implemented and it is verified using AC load assuming a case study is presented in this book. Here the load is the AC so all the power generated from the sources are connected to the infinite AC bus bar through converter and inverter. The power produced from PV is very small, so it can boost up by soft switching boost converters and it further given to multilevel inverter to become AC now after filtering it is connected to the infinite bus bar. Similarly, power produced from the wind resource is directly accessible which is regulated and connected to the infinite bus bar. The power which is transferred from biomass source is connected to AC through the alternator. We know that those above mentioned resources are fluctuating day by day and hour by hour. By regulating and connecting them to the common bus bar any consumer can get uninterrupted power throughout the day.
