Prateek Gupta, PhD, is currently working as an Associate Professor, School of Computer Science Engineering and Technology at Bennett University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. He was formerly Assistant Professor with the School of Computer Science at UPES (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies), Dehradun, India. His research interests include optimization algorithms, wireless communications, and sensor networks. He received his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, in 2008; MTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, India, in 2011; and PhD from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India, in 2019. Bhavana Kaushik, MTech , is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computer Science at the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun, India. She has been an academician for around four years and is currently pursuing a PhD in the field of image processing and computer vision. She secured a silver medal in academics during her MTech in 2015. She is GATE- and UGC-NET-qualified. Apart from academics, she has two years of industrial experience at Infosys Limited as a systems engineer. Her research areas include image processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and women's empowerment. She is a passionate mentor and supervisor for various undergraduate student projects. She has worked on some grassroot-level projects in the area of rural women empowerment. She has also acquired valuable design registrations, published research articles, and handled funded projects. Kiran Ahuja, PhD , is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology (DAVIET), Jalandhar, India, since 2006. She received her BTech and MTech degrees in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, India, and PhD in Electronics and Communication Engineering in Wireless Communication and Networks from Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab, India. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India, in 2018. Indu Bala, PhD , is a Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE) at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. She has published more than 50 papers in various national/international conferences and journals. She has contributed more than 10 book chapters in various books from renowned publishers like Springer, Wiley, Elsevier, IET, IGI Global, CRC Press, etc. She has recently edited a book on IoT published by CRC Press and served as a guest editor for a special thematic issue titled Advancements and Trends in Green Computing and Communication in the journal Recent Advances in Computer Science and Communications, published by Bentham Science Publishers. Currently, she is also serving as a lead guest editor for a special issue on unmanned aerial vehicles, also from Bentham Science Publishers. She has served as a reviewer for several international journals, including Telecommunication Systems, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Wireless Personal Communication, Wireless Networks, etc. Her research interest includes cognitive radio networks, unmanned aerial vehicles, energy harvesting, resource management for next-generation communication networks, optical communication, etc. In the past, she worked as an assistant professor at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India, and as an associate professor at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali and Maharishi Markaneshwar University, Ambala, Haryana, India. She completed her BTech and MTech degrees at Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar, and PhD at Punjabi University, Patiala, India.
