The study area southwest of Bauchi in Nigeria is characterized by rocks such as migmatite, gneiss quartzite complex, granite gneiss, and charnockitic rocks. The study used the Schlumberger electrode array and vertical electrical sounding methods to locate water-bearing horizons. Water samples were collected from various sources, and the static water level varied from 1.7 to 13.4 meters, flowing outward from the center. Major dissolved constituents met drinking water standards, but Mg2+ and Fe2+ exceeded the limits, indicating high TDS values. The dominant water type was Ca-HCO3, suitable for…mehr

The dominant water type was Ca-HCO3, suitable for irrigation according to calculated parameters such as SAR, %Na, RSC, and salinity hazard.
