Hypercalcemia is a metabolic complication, commonly encountered by the clinician. Its clinical presentations are polymorphous and aspecific. The etiological diagnosis is sometimes difficult, due to the multiplicity of etiopathogenic mechanisms that are often interrelated. The aim of this work was to determine the clinical and biological characteristics of hypercalcemia, to establish their etiological profile in an internal medicine setting and to evaluate the effectiveness of symptomatic and etiological treatment as well as the evolution.
