Worldwide, hypertension remains a common and serious problem, contributing in a major way to the most common causes of morbidity and mortality in developed societies. Moreover, the main burdens associated with hypertension occur not in the relatively few with severe disease but in the masses of patients with BPs that are only minimally elevated. Therefore, this book was undertaken to investigate the physiological and biochemical role of plasma ADMA as a result of induction hypertension and renal failure with focusing on the beneficial role of antioxidants (arginine) in retardation and regression of hypertension problems.
