Hypertension in pregnancy continues to be a health problem in the world, and is associated with high maternal, fetal and neonatal morbimortality, to describe the behavior of the main risk factors and complications of hypertensive disorders during pregnancy, a comparative descriptive type of research was conducted with 176 women who during 2018 developed their pregnancy, 2 groups of pregnant women were formed according to the suffering or not of Hypertensive Disorder. Obesity, family and personal history of hypertensive disorder in previous pregnancies and chronic arterial hypertension stand out among other risk factors, mild preeclampsia predominated, cesarean section and Delayed Intrauterine Growth were the main complications. The guidelines used in Primary Care are adequate for risk classification and allow reducing complications, and we recommend their continued use.
