So that to reduce the risk of cardio vascular diseases and diabetes I have conducted this experiment to see the effect of garlic oil on performance, blood glucose, serum and egg yolk lipid profile in birds. The study was conducted on a total of 24 healthy birds of 40 weeks of age. Birds were procured from AICRP, Adhartal, Jabalpur, India. Birds were randomly divided into 4 groups (T1, T2, T3 and T4)containing 6 birds in each group. Maximum reduction in blood glucose, serum and egg yolk lipid profile was reported in the T4 group.It is recommended that the garlic oil at a dose rate of 750mg/kg of feed was the most effective doses for reducing lipid contents and increases egg productioncan be effectively used as a dietary supplement in poultry.
