Bill Schubart is the author of three short-story collections and five novels. He is a life-long resident of Vermont and a co-founder of Philo Records where he first met Rev. Baybie Hoover and Virginia Brown during a recording session of their music. His affection for them, their life stories and music led to this retelling.
