The Mother, the Kurdish leading character in the story, is subjected to the decisions made for her by others. Lack of free will and experience throw her into an unwanted world. At a very early age, an unbearable night becomes the outbreak of a stream of problems for her. Near her old age, she pushes herself into a place she has not been in before. Accordingly, the faith tourism she goes on moves her from sticking to the tried and true towards acquiring personal developement. Since then, her horizons are widened and the range of knowledge and self_confidence increase in her. Her human rights have been violated by a forced marriage. Although she marries again, the crack caused by the first marriage is not obliterated. In fact, it becomes an integral part of her. She is not like a mirror which neither holds images nor records moments in the life of a person. Indeed, her similar to a video camera memory becomes the summation ground for her past and present simultanuosly. The compilation of subsequent presences and absences as well as past and present make her an overloaded creature.
