Rosie M. Elder (Coleman-Cannon) BSN, RN-Head Nurse at Lovell FHCC North Chicago VA for 35 years. She says music has always been her first love, although family stability focused her in the direction of nursing. She is the Director of the VA Choir and an active member of First Corinthian M. B. Church; VOC choir presently serving as Chaplain. She is an Oath taken Licensee Parish Nurse and she is an active member of Nu Phi Chapter Chi ETA Phi Nursing and serves as chaplain. She is aware that she uses too many capital letters in her writing. Her desire to keep her promise of helping others to God led her to audition and become a cast member in Th at's Entertainment Fundraiser Production in 2011 and 2012 at the Waukegan Genesee Theater. She has participated in many role-play/skits/ Easter and Christmas pageants. Rosie has been singing since she was 9 years old and first sang on the radio over a shoe store commercial. At age 11, she sang soprano at St John's M. B. Church Vicksburg Mississippi which was the first choir. Late 90's plus, she sang with Mark Cosey & CLC Gospel Choir for nine years and until after the term he relocated. She sang on the CD, Praise YE the Lord. She has several song poems and copy-writes.
