Volunteering time to help children and animals in a variety of community jobs, I devised a series of books depicting animals in difficult situations and who are required to develop courage and self-confidence to achieve a goal that was seemingly impossible. It was my hope that these books would influence children to do their best and never give up as they cheer on their favorite animal to release their fear and be brave enough to try.
