Lizbeth Ericka, MEd, RYT, has a master's in counseling and human development, as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a certified yoga and mindfulness teacher and the founder of Holistic Living Journey. She has taught yoga and mindfulness to kids of all ages in diverse community spaces. Lizbeth works as a research consultant for public health initiatives and for children's media projects in the Washington, DC, metro area and in New York City. I Am Not a Ballerina is her debut children's picture book. She lives in New York with her sons and their dog, Alfalfa. When she is not writing, she is dancing around her kitchen.
